What’s Happening in Easton This Weekend

EASTON, Conn. — Connecticut’s Mystery Festival comes to Easton this weekend, along with a library exhibit.

Saturday

• Murder 203, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The mystery festival is a two-day event featuring a series of events hosted by popular mystery authors with special guest Michael Palmer speaking at 1:30 p.m. and signing books from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Also on the agenda: panel discussions, writing tips and a cocktails and crime party. The cost for two days is $75. Saturday only is $50, and Sunday only is $25. If you’re not already signed up, you can register at the door. Helen Keller Middle School and Easton Public Library.

• A Walk in the Woods: Selected Works by Janine Brown. The exhibit on display includes linoleum cut prints, paintings and pastel works inspired by photographs taken during walks in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Wyoming. Easton Public Library.

Sunday

• Murder 203, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The mystery festival continues with panel discussions and author signings. Easton Public Library.
