EASTON, Conn. - In the upcoming week, Easton kids can get creatively crafty, the board of finance works out its final recommendations for the town budget and Easton-Redding softball team organizers have their meeting at the library, definitely a harbinger of spring.
Monday, March 26
9:15 a.m.: The Easton Garden Club has its executive board meeting in Easton Library's Community Room.
7 p.m.: The Easton Girl Scouts' leaders meet in the Community Room at Easton Library.
Tuesday, March 27
10:30 a.m.: The Easton Library hosts Baby/Toddler Be-Bop, a 25-minute music and movement class in the Community Room. Registration is not required.
2:15 p.m. The Easton Library presents stories and a themed craft for its Pre-School Storytime held in the Storytime Room. No registration required.
7 p.m.: The Easton Board of Finance meets at the Senior Center to prepare final recommendations for the budget document to be presented at the annual town meeting April 30.
Wednesday, March 28
10:30 a.m.: The Easton Library hosts Baby/Toddler Be-Bop, a 25-minute music and movement class in the Community Room. Registration is not required.

Friday, March 30
6:30 p.m.: The Helen Keller Middle School presents the play, "Gift of the Gods." Another performance takes place March 31. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $12 and can be pre-ordered here.
