Westport Eatery Celebrates Food, Wine, Ferraris

WESTPORT, Conn. – Saugatuck’s family-friendly Rizutto’s Wood Fired Pizza Kitchen will rev things up Sunday, June 10, with its third annual Mille Ferrari event. Billed as “a day of Italian food, wine and cars,” it’s an outdoor party that coincides with the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada race, which will be shown on large HD screens outside. And it’s all happening from noon to 4 p.m.

The speed-themed shindig has something for everyone: a GoSimRacer race car simulator for the adventurous, a GoGo-Kart track for the kids, and plenty of classic Italian fare for everyone.

Ferrari Club of America members and FIAT of Larchmont will steer the day towards automotive artistry, with new and vintage Ferraris, FIATs and Alpha Romeos on display.

Have an Italian set of wheels yourself? Drive on over. Area owners of Italian cars and motorcylces can showcase their vehicles and enter to win the People’s Choice Award for favorite vehicle.

Part of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut.
