Weston's Coogan Will Jazz Up the Holidays

The Chris Coogan Jazz Quintet will rock original and traditional Christmas tunes at a holiday concert Sunday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Norfield Grange in Weston. Tickets, available only at the door, are $25 for adults, $10 for children.

Weston-based musician Coogan has more than 20 years’  experience on the stage, in the studio and on the road. He recently released the CD “Stars and Wind,” his first since 2001.

The quintet consists of Coogan on piano, Jim Clark on sax, John Mobilio on bass, Rex Denton on trumpet and Jim Royle on drums. In addition to Christmas music, the band will play songs from Coogan's new CD.
