Westonite Petitions To Run for Finance Board

WESTON, Conn. – After gathering 117 signatures, David Finkel will be on Weston’s ballot as a petitioning candidate for a seat on the Board of Finance.

Finkel is a registered Republican. Both parties endorsed two out of a possible four candidates to run for the Board of Finance in the November election. Voters will be asked to vote for four of the five candidates on the ballot. The majority party is allowed to have five members on the board.

Also running for Board of Finance are: Democrats Steve Ezzes and Larry Skor and Republicans Jerry Sargent and Michael Carter.

Absentee ballots will be available starting Oct. 7.
