WESTON, Conn. The Weston Women's League (WWL) had its Annual Installation Dinner for new board members May 30 at the Aspetuck Valley Country Club.
New board members are Stacey Tucker, president; Kim Burke, VP Membership; Michelle Zwack and Margaret Krauss, VPs Fundraising; Anne Bigin, VP Community Activities; Catherine Revzon, VP Communications and Publicity; Mica DeSantis, VP Philanthropy; Kim Summers, Secretary; Tami Campos, Treasurer, and Heather Pemberton Levy, Immediate Past President.
"We have a wonderful mix of seasoned and brand new members on the board this year. The dynamic mix of experience and fresh ideas will give the League great energy in the year ahead," Tucker said At the celebration, the League honored Katherine DeSousa as Member of the Year and Kim Burke as New Member of the Year. The Weston Womens League describes its goal as promoting a sense of community through volunteerism, fundraising and social events. The League also hosts community events, including the Weston Farmer's Market, Children's Holiday Breakfast, Breast Cancer Walk, UNICEF collection and Thanksgiving Blood Drive.
