Sean Lee, 18, was spotted jumping the curb by Weston High School onto the baseball field and driving across the entire outfield at a fast speed before exiting near the Weston Middle School playground, police said. A maintenance worker at Weston schools notified police Wednesday, April 20, after watching Lee's green Honda CRV make deep ruts in the field as he intentionally spun his tires while cutting across the field.
Police found the registered owner of the vehicle is We Jen Lee of Good Hill Road in Weston. When police arrived at the residence, Sean Lee was washing mud off the Honda in the driveway. Sean told police he didn't have a good reason for driving on the baseball field and that he was bored and thought it would be fun. Sean apologized for driving on the field.
Sean was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, failure to drive in the proper lane and unsafe movement from a stopped position. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on April 28.
