Weston Offers Library as Cooling Center

With temperatures expected to reach near 100 degrees on Thursday, the town is offering the Weston Public Library as a cooling center for residents.

"We are encouraging those who want to escape the heat, especially those without air conditioning, to come to the library," said Gayle Weinstein, first selectman, in an email.

The library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
