WESTON, Conn. - The Weston High School comfort station will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, offering food, showers, movies and more.
The Weston Public Schools Food Service will be serving hot meals in the cafeteria with average prices of $2 for breakfast and $5 for lunch and dinner. Free water and coffee is offered, with menu items including cereal and muffins for breakfast, soup and sandwiches for lunch and pasta, chicken and a salad bar for dinner.
Three movies will be shown in the auditorium -- "101 Dalmatians" at 10:30 a.m., "Happy Feet" at 1 p.m. and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" at 4 p.m.
There is Internet access at locations around the school and ping-pong, Foosball, coloring, toys and books for children in the lounge adjacent to the cafeteria.
