WESTON, Conn. -- Calling all musicians, chefs, face painters and talented people everywhere!
Showcase your talents by donating some time to the Weston Farmers' Market sponsored by the Weston Women's League.
The market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and there are openings for your entertaining abilities. Play guitar? Sing? Think you can dance? We would love to hear from you. Do you have a business and are promoting a fun product? Or are you a restaurant or food business in the area and want to do a demo? We have a spot for you. A percentage of the proceeds of the Weston Farmers' Market benefit the Weston Warm-Up Fund, Weston Senior Center and Weston Historical Society. This year, donations are being taken for Thanksgiving turkeys for Weston families in need. The Weston Women's League is a diverse group of women dedicated to promoting a sense of community through volunteerism, fundraising and social events.
