WESTON, Conn. - Weston's 9-11 memorial takes place at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on the front steps of the town hall.
"This year it will be a little bit more about community healing instead of remembering the tragic events of the day," said First Selectman Gayle Weinstein. "There will be song and we'll remember those from Weston who were unfortunate victims on that tragic day."
Six Weston residents died during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and are memorialized on a bench outside town hall.
