UPDATE: The Easton Community Center's website is back online after being temporarily down because of a corrupt file on its host server. According to office manager Cyndi Blum, the problem was first noticed Tuesday when an employee saw it and told her supervisors.
"We have our IT guy looking into it. We cannot quite figure out what's going on," Blum said. "We know it's definitely something on the server because the teen center is on a different server and that was fine."
The center recently sent out its winter flier and was expecting residents to sign up for upcoming classes and events. "It's very disturbing," Blum said. "We can't sign up people from the website, so it's a problem."
Whether the corrupt file was the result of a cyber attack was unclear. "We're working on it," Blum said.
