Two Charged in Weston Jewelry Thefts

A Bridgeport man was arrested Monday while burglarizing a home on Lyons Plain Road, Weston police report. Police received a phone call at 2 p.m. from a resident concerning a suspicious person. Officers said that when they arrived   Daniel Abraham, 37, was walking to his car from the back of the home.

Police say Abraham was apprehended with several pieces of jewelry from the home. Police also arrested Pamela Young, 40, of Bridgeport, who was waiting for Abraham in a 2005 Ford Escape parked in the driveway.

Police found evidence of forcible entry and also found jewelry in the car that was taken in other area burglaries. Abraham and Young are now also suspects in a January burglary on Hidden Hill Road, police said.

Abraham is charged with criminal mischief, burglary, larceny, possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He was released on a $70,000 bond.

Young is charged with burglary, larceny, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass. She was released on a $25,000 bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Feb. 18 at 10 a.m.

Abraham and Young have extensive criminal records in Connecticut and New York, police said.
