WESTON, Conn. A home on Georgetown Road was burglarized Wednesday and police are urging residents to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.
The incident occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., near Godfrey Road West, according to police. In his Yahoo! Group Weston e-Watch newsletter, Det. Carl Filsinger said no one was home at the time of the incident and that entry into the home was forced.
The newsletter also states that a television was taken and bedrooms in the home were lightly ransacked. Filsinger said it appears that jewelry was also targeted.
Police urge anyone in that area who may have seen anything unusual to contact Filsinger at 203-222-2639 or by email.
