State Seizes Five Horses at Easton Farm

EASTON, Conn. — The owners of Pee Wee Farm in Easton are under investigation for possible animal cruelty after five malnourished horses were taken from the Sport Hill Road spread, NBC Connecticut reported.

State officials seized the horses on Dec. 15 after a three-month investigation into the condition of the horses, which are now at a rehab center in Niantic, Conn., according to reports.

“All of these horses had different stages of emaciation,” Bruce Sherman of the state Agricultural Department told NBC.
