Son Of Missing Easton Couple Sued Over Credit Card Debt

EASTON, Conn. – Creditors are suing Kyle Navin, 27, who has been in custody since his arrest on Sept. 8 on federal gun charges, eastoncourier.com reports.

Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin of Easton have not been seen since early August. There 27-year-old son Kyle is a person of interest in the case.

Navin has been described as a person of interest in the disappearance of his parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin of Easton.

Tri-Town Teachers Federal Credit Union says Kyle Navin, owes $1,456.82 from a loan and $3,960.76 from a credit card, the article says.

Kyle Navin was the last person to see his parents before they were reported missing Aug. 7. After police searched his Bridgeport home Sept. 8, he was arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm by an individual who is an unlawful user of a controlled substance. He has pleaded not guilty but remains in custody.

Jeffrey Navin is the owner of J&J Refuse in Westport; his wife is a paraprofessional with Weston public schools. Former Weston homeowners, they now rent in Easton.
