Something for Everyone at Weston Memorial Day Fair

WESTON, Conn. – From the carousel ride to the Dunk Booth, from delicious food to community group presentations, the Weston Memorial Day Fair offers something for everyone.

The fair takes place at Hurlbutt Elementary School Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. and Monday from noon to 5 p.m.

Rides at the fair include the carousel, the giant slide and Zero Gravity.

The Kiwanis will be manning the grills with a bake sale booth offering homemade brownies, chocolate chip bars and pies.

At the Dunk Tank, you can soak your favorite little league, school coach or another local celebrity.

A number of local community groups will host booths at the fair, including the Weston Sustainability Committee, which will showcase projects for greener living. The Weston Garden Club will sell homegrown bouquets of flowers. Friends of Lachat, which plans the refurbishment of the Lachat historic home, will share their vision of the future of the property. The local Boy and Girl Scouts will be on hand and Weston High School students will host Cranes for a Cause, selling homemade wares.

Tickets can be purchased at the fair, including unlimited-ride bracelets, good for Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
