ITNCoastalCT, which provides "dignified" transportation for senior citizens, will hold an informational session for seniors and their adult children, area manager Nancy McCormick said.
On Friday, Oct. 22, anyone interested in becoming a member and receiving rides to and from doctor appointments, shopping and other errands, can attend a meeting at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave., to find out more.
Potential passengers in Weston, Easton, Westport, Norwalk, Fairfield and Wilton will be able to pay a membership fee for the "arm-through-arm, door-through-door" service, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
ITNCoastalCT received a $25,000 grant from United Way of Coastal Fairfield County to support its services. The company is teaming with Liberty Mutual for its National Conversation Drive to get senior citizens talking about when to stop driving.
