original story: REDDING, Conn. -- Route 58 in Redding is closed Tuesday afternoon near near John Read Road, because of a tractor-trailer accident, the state Department of Transportation reported.
The overturned tractor-trailer was reported Tuesday at about 4 p.m.
Route 58 is also known as Black Rock Turnpike in the area.
The accident is south of Putnam Memorial State Park.
