WESTPORT, Conn. Parker-Harding Plaza in Westport, from its intersections with Main Street and Post Road East, is undergoing a facelift beginning Monday, the Public Works Department announced.
The entire roadway is set to be reconstructed. This work, part of the town's annual paving project, will begin with the removal of curbs and will continue throughout the week into part of next week.
During the construction period, drivers can access the Parker-Harding parking lot from either the Post Road East entrance or the Main Street entrance, depending upon the progress of the project. Signs will indicate which entrance to use, and detour signs will direct traffic through the parking lot.
The Public Works Department asks motorists to follow the direction of the traffic agents and signs. It also thanks residents in advance for their patience.
