WESTON, Conn. Weston residents will have an opportunity to voice their opinions concerning the 2012-2013 proposed town and school budget next week during a Board of Finance public hearing.
The hearing, which will be in the Weston Middle School cafeteria, will include discussions on the town's proposed plan of about $11.4 million, which calls for a 2.1 percent increase in spending from this year. It also will discuss the school's proposed budget of about $45.6 million, which represents an increase of 0.9 percent.
Both spending plans will cover July 2012 to June 2013. The public hearing begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the middle school, 135 School Road. Members of the public are strongly encouraged to attend.
