Priest Preps Church for Busy Weekend

St. Francis of Assisi is keeping Westonites busy this weekend with a pair of family activities. On Friday, the Rev. Michael Dunn, the church's new pastor, will host Theology on Tap to give parishioners a chance to ask anonymous questions about their faith and the church.

"Those attending will be able to write down questions, throw them in a basket, and I'll pull them out [and] do my best to answer and discuss your questions/concerns," Dunn said in the St. Francis bulletin.

After the discussion, visitors will be treated to beer and wine with appetizers to usher in the Advent season.

St. Nicholas will pay a visit to the parish from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday for Breakfast with St. Nick. The morning's festivities will include breakfast, a visit and story with St. Nicholas, holiday music, children's crafts, a gingerbread house raffle, and a poinsettia and advent calendar sale. The event is hosted by the church's Youth Group.
