Westport police are on the hunt: for new, unopened and unwrapped toys, that is.
Starting in December, the Westport Police Department Local Union No. 2080 and the Police Benevolent Association are once again teaming up for their annual Holiday Toy Drive.
On Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19, Westport police officers will be at the Athletic Shoe Factory parking lot, 1560 Post Road E., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. collecting toy and cash donations. The toys collected during the Holiday Toy Drive are given to needy children throughout Fairfield County.
Donations may also be dropped off at the Westport Police Department at 50 Jesup Road. Donations will be collected at the department until 3 p.m. Dec. 19.
