WESTON, Conn. How much time does your child spend playing and exploring the outdoors?
That is the question asked in the documentary, Mother Natures Child Growing Outdoors in the Media Age, that will be shown at the Weston Public Library next week.
The Camila Rockwell film, which is sponsored by the Aspetuck Land Trust and Wiltons Town & Country Montessori School, explores natures role in childrens health and development. The film asks such critical questions as Why do children need unstructured time outside? and How is play a form of learning?
The free film will be screened at the library, 56 Norfield Road, at 10 a.m. Thursday.
