Train commuters on Metro-North's New Haven Line had their way to work stalled on Wednesday after a power line broke in New York. Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy said that getting the trains back up to full capacity could take as long as three weeks.

Weston High School was one of 286 schools in the nation to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

Redding and Easton voters Tuesday overwhelmingly approved a plan to renovate athletic facilities at Joel Barlow High School.

The Redding Roadhouse is getting set for its monthlong Oktoberfest 2013 celebration from Sept. 29 through Oct. 27.
