WESTPORT, Conn. A New York resident was arrested by Westport police Friday on a warrant charging him with stealing cash from Westport Weston Family Y guests last summer.
Desmond Anderson of White Plains, N.Y., is accused of breaking into three lockers at the Y last July and stealing cash, police said. Anderson, 38, was identified from video surveillance at the Y, according to the police report.
He was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of sixth-degree larceny. He was held on a $25,000 bond and arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court.
