WESTON, Conn. Westonites are urged to watch their mail carefully after two residents reported to police that mail was taken from their mailboxes Christmas Eve.
According to police, a $20 check addressed to the mailman was stolen out of a mailbox on Brookwood Lane on Dec. 24. Mail was also stolen that same day from a box on Deepwood Road.
Police also said a mailbox on Fanton Hill Road was destroyed between 5 and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 24.
