Music will fill the Weston Library's community room Friday for a wine and cheese reception followed by a performance by award-winning local musician Paul Bogaev.
The event kicks off the 2010-11 Friends of the Weston Library programming session, with music by Bogaev, a director, arranger, conductor and composer.
Bogaev will entertain the audience with a mix of songs and stories from his experiences working in music, film, television and Broadway. He will share stories about working with well-known actors and musicians, and he will play songs featured in films and shows on which he has worked throughout his career.
The wine and cheese reception begins at 7 p.m., followed by the free performance at 7:30 p.m.
The library is located at 56 Norfield Road. Call 203-222-BOOK for more information.
