Learn About the Night Sky in Weston

WESTON, Conn. – Weston residents can learn about the nighttime sky later this month as astrophysicist Dr. Kevin Manning presents “Roadmap to the Stars

During the free event, Manning will introduce residents to the celestial heavens and set up a telescope outside Weston Middle School so everyone can see the stars up close.

Manning has served as a consultant for NASA and worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the International Atomic Energy Agency. He also was an editor for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science Journal of Undergraduate Research.

The program, which is sponsored by Friends of the Weston Library, will be held Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m. at Weston Middle School Library. Register in advance by emailing westonlibraryct@gmail.com.
