original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Overnight rain and increasing winds are causing power outages in Fairfield County on Monday morning, according to Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating.
Here are the outages as of 3:20 p.m.:
- Greenwich: 64
- Ridgefield: 35
It was not clear when the outages would be restored.
Power outages in Danbury, Easton, Fairfield, New Canaan, Redding, Stamford, Wilton and Westport have been restored.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 11 a.m. Monday that includes Southern Fairfield County. Winds, at 15 to 25 mph, could gust as high as 45 to 50 mph and could bring down trees, causing scattered power outages.
