Heavy Agenda Set for Easton Selectmen Thursday

EASTON, Conn. – The possibility of leasing property on Westport Road, tax refunds, driveway bond releases and a Board of Ethics advisory opinion are some of the many items facing the Easton Board of Selectmen on Thursday night.

According to the meeting agenda, which can be found here, the selectmen will discuss:

• a public hearing on a proposed lease agreement regarding a property to be acquired by the town of Easton at 358 Westport Road, which the town will lease to a tenant for residential use;

• a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission to lease property at 358 Westport Road;

• a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission on the construction of a wall in the town right-of-way at 112 Wells Hill Road;

• five tax refunds to Easton residents;

• the release of some driveway bonds to Easton residents;

• an advisory opinion from the Board of Ethics; and

• appointments and/or reappointments.

The meeting is open to the public. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room of Town Hall, located at 225 Center Road.
