Nine Weston road closures were reported Monday morning in an emergency Code Red message, after heavy overnight rain and flooding. Weston schools also were closed Monday.
The following roads were closed as of 8 a.m. Monday:
Route 57 at Samuelson Road
Route 53 between Godfrey Road East and Lords Highway
Calvin Road
Cartbridge Road at the bridge
Davis Hill Road at Fern Valley Road
Godfrey Road West at End Road and at the S-turns
Old Easton Turnpike at the bridge
Old Mill Road near Cobbs Mill Inn
Old Redding Road near Route 136 bridge
Residents are urged to exercise caution while driving and to seek alternate routes if driving within town.
