Angel Figueroa, 44, said in his lawsuit that he was fired a day after filing a complaint with the health department about employees not following hygienic practices, the Post said. Health Department officials inspected the store but found no violations, said the Connecticut Post.
Whole Foods Market has denied the allegations made in the lawsuit and say that Figueroa made the store a hostile work environment, added the Connecticut Post.
