Enter Your Scenic Photos in Easton Contest

EASTON, Conn. – The Easton Arts Council wants photos of the town's scenery for its photography exhibition, which takes place in the Easton Library Community Room from Nov. 7 through Dec. 17. The judge will be Diana Mille, an adjunct professor of art history and director of the Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery at Fairfield University.

Photographers should enter pieces that highlight the rural and scenic beauty of Easton. Awards will be given in adult and student categories. First prize winners will receive $100 and a ribbon and their photos will become part of the town of Easton's permanent collection. Second prize, honorable mention and four awards of merit will receive a ribbon and certificate.

Photographs should be dropped off Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Easton Library Community Room, located at 691 Morehouse Road. Entry forms are available on the Easton Arts Council's website or may be requested from photocontest@eastonartscouncil.org. Entry forms can also be requested at 203-520-8873 or 203-261-0175.
