EASTON, Conn. The Easton Senior Center will offer flu shots to the public Oct. 24 and Oct. 26 from 7 a.m. to noon.
Those wishing to get a flu shot should call the senior center at 203-268-1145 and set up an appointment. Spots are filling up. The senior center must tell the visiting nurse association how many people are expected. Those who work can request an early appointment.
The Easton Senior Center is a regional center for flu shots. Residents from Easton and surrounding towns are welcome to make appointments. For payment, Medicare is processed automatically. For more information about what health insurance is accepted, ask the senior center when making an appointment. If not insured, the cost in past years has been $30.
