EASTON, Conn. An update on the Easton animal shelter, tax refunds and various issues relating to the Town Clerk are on the agenda of Thursday nights Board of Selectmen meeting.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 in the conference room of Town Hall, 225 Center Road. Residents are encourage to attend and will be allowed to speak during a public comment portion of the meeting.
According to the agenda posted by the selectmens office, the items of discussion will include:
- Discuss and approve the following tax refunds as recommended by Patrice Hildenbrand, Tax Collector: 1. Aspetuck Land Trust $7,324.02; 2. DCFS Trust $956.27; 3. Bonnie M. Covey $68.80; 4. GMAC $26.71; 5. GMAC $415.72; 6. Janet B. Magid $5,469.79; 7. Nissan Infiniti Lt. $119.55, and 8. Walia A. Triolo $22.75.
- Discuss and correct terms of a newly appointed alternate member of the Commission for the Aging and a newly appointed member of the Pension and Employee Benefits Commission.
- Discussion and update on the animal shelter building project.
- Discussion and possible action on various issues relating to the Town Clerks Office.
