Update: REDDING, Conn. — Metro-North announced that all trains were running on schedule on the Danbury Branch by 10 a.m. Tuesday.

original story: REDDING, Conn. — Trains on the Danbury Branch are delayed due to a disabled train at Redding on Tuesday morning, Metro-North Railroad said via Twitter ‏@MetroNorth.

Danbury Branch northbound train service is experiencing delays of 20 to 30 minutes, Metro-North said.

The 7:54 a.m. train from Danbury to Grand Central running on the Danbury Branch has been canceled at the West Redding station due to mechanical problems. The next southbound train departs Danbury at 9:05 a.m., Metro-North said. 

Metro-North said at 8:30 a.m. that it was not clear when the delays would be resolved.
