WESTON, Conn. Downloadable eBooks will be available for free for any Weston Public Library patron with a current card through the library's website starting Tuesday.
The library's new subscription to OverDrive provides 24/7 access from any device with an Internet connection to a full selection of current and classic titles for children, teens and adults. OverDrive titles can be viewed on a Mac, PC and most devices, including iPods, iPads, Nooks, BlackBerrys, Androids and smartphones. Kindle users will be able to download OverDrive titles later this year. Audiobook fans will find a wide selection of new downloadable titles, too, to complement the library's already popular eAudiobook selection available through NetLibrary and the Connecticut State Library.
