An electric vehicle charging station is now ready for use at the Easton Library/Police Station parking lot.

Residents may plug in their vehicles at no charge while they browse for books in the library, stroll through nearby Senior Park or take care of business at Town Hall.

The Easton Clean Energy Task Force applied for and won a state grant of $10,000 to cover the cost of the station and its installation.

There are also charging stations in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westport, Ridgefield and Wilton. For a complete list, check this website from the state of Connecticut.
