WESTON, Conn. Two homes on Lilac Lane were burglarized Tuesday just before noon. Entry was made through an unlocked door and by kicking in a rear door. Jewelry was taken from the master bedrooms, police said in an email.
Detective Carl Filsinger of the Weston Police Department advises residents to keep doors locked and to use house alarms because unoccupied homes are targeted.
"We are working with area departments who have had similar type break-ins," Filsinger in the email. He said police have no leads or suspects.
