WESTPORT, Conn. There will be a funeral service for Westport teen Bradley Helt, a junior at Fairfield Prep who died April 9, at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ & Holy Trinity Church in Westport.
Bradley, 16, was an avid swimmer. He was a member of the Fairfield Prep swim team and the Wilton Y Wahoos Swim Club. He also swam with the Westport Family Y Water Rat team for several years before high school and was a two-year participant in the annual Swim Across the Sound.
As a young boy, Bradley played little league in Westport.
Visiting hours will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Christ & Holy Trinity Church, 75 Church Lane. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bradley Helt Memorial Fund, care of Emmet, Marvin & Martin, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.
