EASTON, Conn. An Easton resident reported spotting of a black bear near the intersection of Southfield and Ridgeway roads at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. Police said that when they arrived, the bear was gone.
Easton police called the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, which didn't respond to the call.
