Weston children got to experience exotic creatures up close and personal at naturalist Chris Evers' recent wildlife presentation. But on Nov. 13, it will be their parents' turn to learn about wildlife across the world.
In his African Adventure presentation, Evers will share stories of his worldly travels in an event sponsored by the Friends the Weston Library for adults only. Evers is founder and director of Animal Embassy, which adopts and rescues exotic animals.
Evers will share it all: from migrating wildebeests and zebras in Kenya, to traveling in Uganda to photograph chimpanzees, to coming face to face with giant gorillas in Rwanda. Evers has traveled the globe photographing critically endangered species, documenting what it takes to preserve them.
The free digital presentation will also feature artifacts from his travels.
The event is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. in the Weston Library Community Room. Preregister by calling the library at 203-222-2665.
