The Easton Historical Society will open the doors to the Adams School House at 345 Westport Road on Saturday in celebration of the holiday season. The Adams House is a mid-19th century one-room schoolhouse, complete with furnishings and decor from the period.
Historical society members will serve cookies and cider warmed by the wood stove as well as answer questions about the schoolhouse's historic past.
Enjoy the holiday decor and feel what it was like to attend a one-room schoolhouse in 19th-century Easton. The open house hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. The school is located at 345 Westport Road.
