Westport Toddler Receives Blessing, Kiss From Pope Francis

WESTPORT, Conn. -- She may be too young to remember it, but the family of Tess Hinojos of Westport will never forget the blessing bestowed on the 17-month-old last week by Pope Francis during a visit to the Vatican, according to News 12 Connecticut.

On Wednesday, April 15, Pope Francis holds a General Audience and greets the pilgrims at the Vatican. He kisses and blesses 17-month-old Tess Hinojos of Westport just after the 3:30 mark in the video.

Adrian Hinojos and Hilary Nordholm were visiting Rome on vacation with their two children. During the Pope's general audience, when he motors through the huge crowds outside the Vatican on his Popemobile, Francis stopped to kiss and bless Tess, who was handed up in the crowd, a YouTube video shows.
