To The Editor:
I am writing to express my unqualified support for Jennifer Tooker for Board of Finance. Her international business background, her current experience on the BOE and her personal integrity make her the only choice for this pivotal position.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Jennifer for the past 13 years, and I feel very fortunate to call her a friend. Jennifer never ceases to impress me with her ability to juggle work, family, and personal commitments, all while keeping a calm and upbeat demeanor. She is dedicated mother, friend, and employee, and Westport is extremely lucky to have such a loyal civic servant.
I am a lifelong Democrat, but I truly feel Jennifer’s personal and professional experience elevates her candidacy above her peers and that is why I will be supporting her on November 5th. Her current tenure on the BOE gives her an informed and insightful perspective – and as the school budget accounts for 60 percent of the town’s budget, I consider this insight invaluable. On a personal level, her enthusiasm for Westport is infectious, and it was one of the primary reasons my family and I recently decided to relocate here. Her optimism and dedication are truly inspiring.
Please join me in supporting Jennifer Tooker for the Board of Finance on November 5th and cast a vote for experience and integrity.
