WESTPORT, Conn. -- It's the words one hates to hear: "We found something."
Westport native Peter Green talks about those words -- and the battle with brain cancer that followed -- in his new book, "Cancer Crossroad."
Set for a late September release, the book features Green's unique adaptive exercise program designed specifically for the needs of those going through and recovering from cancer treatment. The company is called Workout Through Cancer (WOTC).
Readers will also find important steps cancer patients and survivors can take to help overcome fear, stay strong, tolerate side effects, gain confidence, and own their fight to survive.
“The reason I'm here today is because of my great doctors and the workout program I developed," said Green, a former partner in a consulting company.
"But the reason I fought so hard was to be there for my son.”
