Westonites Can Dump Debris for Free

WESTON, Conn. – Due to extensive tree damage and debris cluttering the streets of Weston from the pre-Halloween snowstorm, town officials will allow residents to drop off any debris, free of charge, at the Transfer Station.

Tree debris can be dropped off at the transfer station on weekdays from Nov. 7 through Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Logs cannot be larger than 10 feet in diameter. Smaller logs can be bundled and placed in the compactor, but they need to be less than three feet in length.

Proof of Weston residency is required. All hired contractors must submit a signed letter, stating name, address and telephone number of client.
