WESTON, Conn. The Weston Parks and Recreation Department has a number of summer camps scheduled for children in first through ninth grades that will be held at Weston Intermediate School.
Register online or call Charlene Monn at 203-222-2586 for information on financial aid available for qualified candidates. Space is limited so register early.
Heres a list of summer camps for students entering first through sixth grade:
- Creative Arts/Enrichment camp (June 28 to July 20)
- Adventures Thru Karate, Science, Models, Drumming and Magic (June 28 to July 13)
- Gizmos, Gadgets, Models and More (July 16 to July 27)
- Drumming and Rhythm (July 16 to July 27)
- Inspirational Dance, Art, Yoga and Drumming and Rhythm (July 23 and July 27)
Heres a list of summer camps for students entering grades 7 through 9:
- Cooking and Science Workshop (June 28 to June 29)
- International Cuisine (July 2 to July 13)
- Venturing Through Rhythm, Dance and Art (July 2 to July13)
- Drumming and Rhythm (July 16 to July 27)
The Town of Westport offers three day camp programs for children of various ages: Tot n Play for children ages 3 through 5; Camp Compo for children entering kindergarten through fourth grades and RECing Crew for children entering grades 5 through 8.
The town of Wilton Parks and Recreation offers sports camps, including a Youth Tennis Camp for juniors and the Warrior Basketball Camp for students entering grades 3 through 9. Contact the office for more information at 203-834-6234.
