Dear Editor:
Connecticut’s unemployment rate remains stubbornly high at 6.7 percent - well above the national 6.2 percent rate.
It’s clear our representatives in Hartford and Washington have not done enough. That’s why I am supporting Dan Debicella - candidate for U.S. Congress in Connecticut’s 4th District. Debicella’s jobs plan gets us away from policies that favor special interests. It will lower taxes for families and small business. Plus, Debicella’s plan provides retraining for the long-term unemployed, which will be funded using tax breaks for businesses that will hire them.
Vote for new leadership for Connecticut on Nov. 4.
Sincerely, Susan Moran
